I just know it. when u depend on others, usually in the past 4 years, nothing goes right. Save for a few good friends i really trust, other people will usually not be of any help at all, or will just frustrate and disappoint.
Today I drove from putrajaya to SK just to print a t shirt design on a piece of iron on. other shops were not able to print on iron ons because of some quirks with laser printers. so all i can hope was that this ink jet printer will do the job. i waited for a while, and when my turn came, the outcome was horrible. horrible colour tone, with unexplainable lines. absolutely horrific. as a customer, i know i have the right to refuse paying, but i just paid as a gesture of goodwill. if this happened in a real shop, i would never pay for this.
i just think, that if were I to start a small business, serving people's need for printing, i should take it upon myself to really make sure the printer and the printing quality is of a satisfying standard, at least not so horrible. then will i have peace of mind knowing i'm charging people money for a reasonable service i'm giving them. at least a reasonable service.
On another note, I'm really loving my new room in Putrajaya. i think it looks quite nice. I personally bought some stuff from IKEA: a new computer table, chair, lamps, mirrors and i think more will come. hehe. i really like the cable management of the new table, no more unsightly tangled up cables in plain sight. all neatly stored in a hidden compartment. all i need now is a new bed sheet and comforter, and some nice blinds. i'm not really into curtains, i think blinds are the way to go. when i have some extra money, i think i will indulge in this kind of goose neck floor lamp :

Or something that resembles this floor light. Maybe some cheap knockoffs. Have to start searching..
I just hope that later i will get a job that is not too far from here, else i need to shift back to KL and all these things here will be of no use. i'm too not bothered with transporting things back and forth, and i really hate packing things up.
Oh well, two weeks to go! Fighting!
