there's one thing that have bugged me for a long time. i've noticed that some startups doing wedding photography ( a lot nowadays) really2 like to put their logo or logotype on each page of the wedding album. like a watermark of some sort.

if i were to be the one who already paid the photographer, i would be pissed off when i browse, look back and reminisce about my wedding and seeing all these needless logos on each page of my wedding albums. for me, a wedding album is all about the people who are getting married, their moment in time, with their families and friends, and not about the photographer or the brand. i find that the intimacy of the album gone, and a bit commercialized tbh.

just put one at the back of the album is enough la. i was horrified when i saw my cousin's wedding album. each page of the album (it was a sticky album somemore) got the photographer's company name and phone number as the footer of the page. the font size was also quite big. it was not subtle in anyway. wtf is that? my cousin paid the guy to do his wedding album and take photos, and this guy just merrily advertised his number on each page of the album. that is like so shit, distasteful and unprofessional. from a design perspective, it's like an advertising agency doing corporate re branding job for a client, but put up their own logo instead at every opportunity given.

and the photos were not that super brilliant to be honest. not worth bragging at all.
