Alhamdulillah today (17/8/2011) The Star put up my hari raya design on their front page! hehe quite happy. but not fully satisfied with the contractor's work. quite a lot are not up to specifications and design. hopefully God willing, next next projects will end up better with more experience. will upload some pics later. IMHO top view looks not nice. Come to 1 Utama and view it from ground floor. it's a lot better i think.
my boss says that in 10 years, i will look back and think that my design was quite childish. haha. after a few days i already felt that it was childish. not enough detailings on the backdrop cum changing room.
It's a strange feeling. I am happy but a bit reluctant to be proud of this design.
I guess experience is a lot more valuable than having Phd or masters in my line of work. Hopefully within 2-3 years i will learn a lot more and not make many mistakes anymore. Insyaallah..
